Bakunawa
POSTER DESIGNS
Bakunawa is a monthly DJ event in the Philippines run by the BuwanBuwan Collective. The client approached me to produce posters for two months, with different themes.
Since one of the posters was for their 20th show, I decided to number it in a roman numeral set XX to promote symmetry, and have also suggested I produce two different posters for the same event.
I have also designed a poster for another event they had, in which my motif to present “I/O” or input-output was an echo that starts in the middle and ends in all directions. This is why I chose to design it to mimic a Mandala design.
